Become an Institutional Member

Clay Grizzle, TETA Board of Governors
CAPS Chair

Hello and welcome to the 2012-2013 school year!!

I hope this finds all of you well and with plans for a marvelous year of productions and instruction.

Now is the time to start planning on becoming an Institutional Member for 2014. There are lots of benefits. For those of you who are at Texas high schools you can get 3 students into the auditions (instead of the possibility of 1), your students are eligible to compete for the valuable Founders scholarship awards, and you have proof for your administration that your program is recognized by TETA as exemplary. Colleges can audit the auditions, your students can also compete for Founders scholarship awards, and when you use the cost reduction for an exhibitor booth you’ve saved all you dues. And of course all of you that are institutional representatives save your $50.00 individual dues.

The paperwork is not something you can complete in an hour, but it will take you through your entire program. From library resources (this is a good way to get those extra resources in the library) to dressing rooms to production history this application will force you to look at what you have and what you have done with it.

Thanks, good wishes for your year, and I look forward to seeing you at TheatreFest 2013!
