TheatreFest ‘16: Don’t Miss It!!

My friends, it is another year, and time for another successful Convention!

Once again, Missey Head and I have teamed up to bring to you a Convention full of tradition and changes! Missey, from Dallas, is running all programming, and I am running all operations for the Convention. Missey has assembled quite a team to locate and bring to TheatreFest a great lineup of talented Master Educators. She and her team are doing a masterful job! They truly are Dreaming Big, Making Magic and Making a Difference!! Together Toward Tomorrow!!

It has been a wonderful experience working with Travis Poe as the new TETA President. His talented and caring nature is bringing this organization into a new era. Under his direction and the leadership of the TETA Board of Directors, the operations side of the Convention is moving forward at a steady pace.

Special thanks to Darve Smith, TETA’s Communication’s Director for all of his hard work! As I work late into the night, I always know that he is too, and is available to assist. What a hard worker!

This year I put out a call for volunteers, and over 100 theatre professionals from all of the State answered the call! We had more educators wanting to assist with this Convention than positions to work! All of these Convention workers pay full membership and Convention fees, just to come and give of themselves. That is dedication!
