Congratulations to Dr. David Stevens, Keller ISD Director of Fine Arts, for being named the 2011 Supervision/Administration Educator of the Year by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA).
Dr. Stevens will be recognized on November 10 during the TAEA Supervisors Meeting, and again on November 11 as part of a special presentation at the TAEA General Session.
“David’s passion for the arts and dedication to Keller ISD students is undeniable,” said Keller ISD Superintendent Dr. James Veitenheimer. "He is an outstanding leader and we are honored that he is apart of this district.”
TAEA's mission is to promote quality visual arts education in Texas by promoting visual arts education as an integral part of the curriculum through professional development of knowledge and skills; to represent the art educators of Texas; and to research and develop policies and decisions relative to practices and directions in visual arts education.
