TTAO Certification and TheatreFest 2016

TheatreFest is just around the corner and TTAO is excited to partner with TETA to offer certification workshops for new UIL One-Act Play adjudicators at the convention. We will offer a one day workshop Saturday January 31st from 8am-12pm that will offer theatre artists and educators an opportunity to become certified UIL OAP adjudicators.

Anyone who is not directing an official UIL OAP at the high school or middle school level this year and has a theatre background (either theatre degree or equivalent professional/One-Act Play experience) may apply to certify.

There is no fee to certify, however, all applicants must register for the TheatreFest convention which also requires registering as a member of TETA. Applicants who finish the certification workshop on Saturday will also be required to shadow a judge at a spring contest.

With the enrollment of participants steadily growing each year at the high school and middle school levels it is important for our judging ranks to grow with highly qualified theatre artists and educators too. If you know someone who might make an excellent judge they can find more information about our TETA certification workshop by visiting the certification page at www.ttao.org.

Magic is happening at TheatreFest! Don’t delay...register now!
