TheatreFest 2012: Houston Here We Come Again!

With the proposed budget cuts from the legislature looming over the Texas education world earlier this summer, it became abundantly clear to us that we had to get the best deal possible for our members if we wanted anyone to attend, and the Houston Hyatt was the winner by far - same room rates as last year and $8 off valet parking.

NOW is the time to make your plans to attend the TETA convention, TheatreFest, January 27-29, 2012.  We have adjusted the programming schedule to accommodate those with limited budgets. Programming will not start until 1pm on Friday and will end at 1pm on Sunday - which requires only 2 nights stay at the hotel for most folks to attend the entire event!
We have not changed the registration fee and we will still have the highest caliber of special guests. We’re still planning on close to 250 workshops in this schedule so don’t miss out – REGISTER EARLY. This saves you money and will help us to better plan the spaces for workshops. The registration form is already posted on the TETA website. If you would like to offer your skills in a workshop, please fill out and submit the Workshop Proposal Form. We are already taking applications for Auditions, DesignFest and PlayFest, so don’t procrastinate! Deadlines for all are approaching fast.

Exhibit space is going FAST! So if you typically wait until November to pay for a booth, you may be out of luck. Send your request in today! We lowered the price for commercial booths by $100!
