A chill is in the air! Winter is approaching and with that comes TheatreFest! This is one of my favorite times of the year. One spends quality time with family over the holiday breaks and time with fabulous theater colleagues at TheatreFest! It is a time of renewal and magic!
There are so many reasons to attend TheatreFest. By far, the connections made with other teachers, administrators, vendors and educators from all across Texas who equally care about theater education as much as I do is truly magical. Attending workshops to perfect our craft, learning innovative lessons that will push my department and students forward and being part of a community whose ultimate goal is to provide students with strong educational experiences in theater. TheatreFest helps us make a difference in our school districts and in our classrooms.

Thank you so much for attending SummerFest 2015 at St. Edward’s University in Austin. We had the largest attendance to date! Our K-12 Section is growing thanks to you! Continue to stay involved and be a voice for your district, department and classroom!
Our K-12 Committee is stronger than ever and is truly committed to serving you. We have several qualified individuals who have been nominated for K-12 Committee positions. The following K-12 Committee positions are up for re-election: K-12 Secretary, High School Interest, Middle School Interest, and Elementary At-Large. Please attend the K-12 Business meeting and Interest Meeting to vote.
