Deadlines, deadlines!! So many deadlines! Want a simple list of the deadlines for TETA’s TheatreFest 2017? Please see below. Plan now…don’t wait till the last minute! ☺
Jan. 9th - Early Bird Rates for many items!
- Convention Registration Fee of $120 (After Jan. 9th, Convention Registration goes to $170)

- Exhibit Booth Fee of $300, for the first booth and $500 for each additional booth (After Jan. 9th, first booth goes to $500, and $700 for each additional booth)

- After the Jan. 9th deadline for registration for the Auditions, an Open Audition will be available for any student to register at the actual Convention for any remaining open Audition slots, if any.
- Early Registration for DesignFest

- After the Jan. 9th deadline for registration for DesignFest, an Open Period will be available for any participant to register (closed on Jan. 21st).
- FilmFest
- There is no deadline for FilmFest. Team registration will take place at Convention.
Something EXTRAORDINARY is happening at TheatreFest 2018!! Same as last year’s Convention, 2018 is the least expensive we have had in 15 years!! Time to join us!!
Based on our records, TheatreFest 2018 in Galveston is on the path to be one of our largest Conventions in many years!!
Consider:
Participant Registration:
- Already over 1000 have registered!
- Out of the 120 slots for auditions, we have 145 applying for a slot!
- 51 College/University Auditors have signed up for the Auditions!
- We currently have 16 participating in DesignFest with another 25 participating in the Technical Auditions.
- We have over 56 entries this year competing for 24 slots!
- 60 booths have been rented!
- Convention rate lower than three years ago!
- Hotel costs per room night down $50 from two years ago!
- Plenty of free parking
- Free Internet
- PlayFest, DesignFest and Audition fees waived!
- Exhibit booth rates lowered from two years ago!
- A beautiful resort like Moody Gardens!
How to register:
Early registration is due on December 15th. Please follow these steps:
- Step #1. Register for TETA membership. Go to this link and register for TETA Membership (the cost will be $20 for students and $50 for adults) - https://tetatx.wildapricot.org/join-us
- Step #2. Register for the TheatreFest Convention - https://tetatx.wildapricot.org/event-2677154
- Step #3. You will receive two separate emails for invoices. One for TETA Membership, and another for Convention Registration. Use this if you did not pay each with a credit card while registering above.
